"I love this foundation. I have an oily t zone and this make up helps reduce this. The colour matches great with my fair skin. I have lots of redness and i find just 1 pump is all i need to cover my imperfections but it is easy to build if you want a fuller coverage. I love that it's not too thick as well. I do set this with a powder because i like too but not needed. I use the blurr primer under this and it stays on all day. This is my new favourite. Oh the price is amazing too. Love db products"

"I was hesitant to try this as most ""matte "" Foundations are far too drying on my skin. I decided to give it ago based on a retailers recommendation and am so glad i did. I was completely surprised as the finish of this is more of a soft demi matte which looks and feels very natural and skin-like as the ""velvet "" Name would suggest. I find the coverage to be a true medium. Unfortunately, i don't find it sheers out or builds-up that well - when sheered out it runs a little streaky and when built-up it tends to pill on my skin. When worn at medium coverage it has excellent staying power and looks great after 8 hours wear. I think the shade range could do with some expansion too. I find the lightest shade (porcelain ivory) a touch too dark and pink-toned for me. Overall a truely great ""ลeveryday ""ลฅ foundation. Easily the best foundation i've tried at this price point. I find this compatible to napoleon perdis' stroke of genius liquid cashmere foundation (which costs 4x more!). Love that db cosmetics is cruelty free too :)"
