"I'm definitely unconvinced on whether I love this perfume or not, having never smelled the original. Like another reviewer, I am however really enjoying it as a room spray. It definitely has a strong tobacco smoke undertone, but is somehow quite an addictive wear too. My review is more for DB to compliment the beautiful bottle copy of this perfume. Please hurry to bring out the rest of her collection in similar bottles, especially the yellow St Ysidro(?). I can't wait to collect them all."

"I went to Mecca to try the original one. Was priced over $300 I didn't want to spend so much money in this economy. So I bought it as a blind buy. Absolutely loved it. "Thank goodness I was able to sample the Portofino scent via DB, as I would have been so disappointed to have spent $$$ on what is only now used as a room spray for the smallest room in the house! It is so cloyingly overpowering that all you are reminded of is old smoking rooms in old hotels and bars."
